RTR PARTS
TR4A-6 Rear Damper Conversion kit
The damper inside coil rear suspension set-up gives better spring control than the original arrangement resulting in greatly improved road holding.
This is the definitive kit - not to be confused with inferior set up's with brackets off the chassis or the inner bodywork.
There is no need to change the trailing arm (aluminium part) that supports the car as the system bolts to it. 6 holes are drilled through the trailing arm to support the damper brackets.
TR2-4 Upper adjustable Fulcrum kit
Enables accurate setting of camber.
This kit incorporates a new style fulcrum which can be slid over the top of the turret allowing accurate camber setting.
TR6 Electronic Speedometer
A gearbox sensor (supplied separately) provides the electronic feed.
This range of completely new electronic speedometers complements our exchange service by providing an instrument which is reliable, accurate and free from the troubles of speedometer drive cable failure.
The faces are as near as is practicable to the original face with the obvious exception of a small rectangular green window in the face where trip and odometer readings are
The instruments are offered in the range that covers all eventualities from TR2-TR6.
SUPERPRO
TR3-4 Full Suspension Bush kit
Comprising of all the SuperPro bushes needed for a front and rear suspension rebuild.
SuperPro Polyurethane Bushings only are supplied in this kit. this means that the lower inner wishbone bushes and trunnion bush kits are not included as these are nylon at the lower inner position and metal bushes at the trunnions. These are shown in related parts and need to be ordered separately if needed.
This kit will improve your road holding by ensuring that the wheels go up and down in the manner intended by Triumph, a situation not sustainable with rubber components. Installing SuperPro Polyurethane Bushings will give you:-
Constant steering geometry
More responsive steering, Increased tyre life, Longer service life to suspension components, Better road handling; control, Alignment correction; stability.
Complete suspension Bush kit for TR250, TR5/6
This kit will improve the road holding of your car by ensuring that the wheels go up and down in the manner intended by Triumph, a situation not sustainable with rubber components. Installing SuperPro Polyurethane Bushings will give you:
• Constant steering geometry.
• More responsive steering.
• Increased tyre life.
• Longer service life to suspension components
• Better road handling & control and Alignment correction & stability.
All polyurethane components are SuperPro, The trunnion bushes are standard Nylon supplied with thrust washers, grease seals and shields. In the scheme of things, rubber will provide poor long term suspension stability, SuperPro polyurethane will be superior, and nylon, superior again. Therefore as Nylon is standard for TR4A-6 trunnion bushes, fitting polyurethane would be a retrograde step.
